enclosed trailer racks

i have checked out all the websites and these racks are just too dayum expensive. has anyone made their own racks or hooks to hold their blowers trimmers rakes shovels etc..... thanks

I have seen some pics on here of someone using the metal spring clamps (kinda like large clothes pins) to hold equipment in an enclosed trailer. They just screwed one side to the wall with the gripping part up and set items in the clamps.

greenback I could not agree more with you.

I went to home depot and looked. I have found that Hose hangers and big J hooks have worked best for me.

I'll post a picture and If I get some time today I go and take a better digital picture of the racks I built.

They do cost some money, but greentouch sells nice heavy duty racks. They also have a rubber coating to protect your equipment.I look at it like this, all the money I spend on backpack blowers and trimmers/edgers I want them to stay where I put them in travel.

I made these with two 2x4's and $3 clamps from Home depot and they work great...

I also put some hooks in to hold the hand blower and hedge trimmers for now...

Last one of my hand tools, soon I'm going to build the same thing on the other side of the trailer and separate the rakes and shovels and organize them...

just going through some older threads... found this. what a smart idea using the $3 clamps.
i think i will walk through Home Depot with $200 bucks and see what i come up with for rack ideas..
