I've got an Encore slicer which Im looking to add a seeder attachment to. I rented one a number of years ago and liked the way it worked. Encore doesn't make the seeder unit and they were unable to tell me who does. Anyone out there familiar with what I'm talking about? Know who might manufacture a seeder attachment? Thanks

Try picking up an old scotts drop spreader at an auction or garage sale. (I got a scotts stainless one for $1) and spread the seed then go over the aarea with the slicer. or you can use a broacast spreader for larger areas then go over it with the slicer. this is wwhat works for me sometimes. Or sometimes I rent a slitseader. Depends on the conditions.

Thanks Paul. I thought of doing just that, but having the seeder integral w/ the slicer seemed like the way to go. I got the machine for $75 and added a new motor from Northern so I've only got around $200 into it. If I can get the seeder I'd be happy.
