I've tried to use part numbers in the catalogs to do it, but couldn't find a direct fit. One of the things I'm going to do in Louisville next month is compare these things. I think that some Scag spindles will fit. All they need to do is line up to the bolt holes. If I can't find one that will work, I'll buy 2 cast iron spindles and make what I need with a piece of 1/4" plate. I just don't understand why Encore uses aluminum housings on their spindles.

I was thinking aluminum dissipates heat better?
