Here is a question for everyone. I have a 27 HP Kawasaki liquid cooled engine that started sputtering as I was working. IT was at full throttle and as I turned to look behind me I saw that the muffler was glowing red at one of the cylinders.
I checked the obivious, plugs, filters and such. Even searched here and on google but cannot find any info.

    Please help.

    THanks, James

Quit burnin' that dern rocket fuel in it, and you'll stop having that problem!
Actually,,, only at one cylinder? Seriously? That is usually an air mix issue, I think, but not if only one cylinder affected.

Sounds like it could be a leaking intake gasket on that cylinder, Also check for grass build-up around the cylinder cooling fins.
