having a full time job and doing lawn/landscape work(about 15 properties weekly)really puts me in a time crunch for equipment maintenance.i have a fair amount of equipment and its sometimes hard to keep track of what needs to be done and what has been done.does anyone use a written log for each machine?any thoughts would be appreciated!

we have a maintenance schedule for each machine. we go through the manuals, and shoe horn all maintenance into daily tasks, that the foremen are responsible (clean underside of deck, check blades, etc), and weekly, mid season, and end of season tasks that are done in the shop. all manuals, and checklists are put in a large manila envelope, an envelope for each machine is in a box in the shop.
