    I like to keep it till it falls apart. Even then I don't want to part with it. :(

    I would have to say that I would get rid of it when the maintenance costs are such that it is cheaper to replace it.

    Ideally I should have followed the three year rule with my last 3 or 4 mowers. Keeping them beyond that seemed to be the trouble.
