I have a 85,000 SF area of land that I am going to bid on. It has a shopping center on the land with very little grass to cut. I estimate about 16 man/hrs per visit to complete the work. Lots of islands with pinestraw and little grass areas around the parking lot. Any suggestions as to getting a bid together. I have some ideas, but want some advice.

What will the bid entail? Is it just mowing, or are other things included?

I can estimate pine straw pretty good. But on such a large area that is mostly pavement, what do you do. I can measure the turf areas, but what is a good judgment on areas like 20-30 islands of pine straw and turf in the middle of the parking lot?
