My friend and I are interested in starting up our own lawn care business. We have several years of experience and are lucky enough to have a couple ways of contacting larger properties. However, seeing how we are new to this side of the table, we are unfamiliar with the bidding / contract process. We are planning on contacting these properties and finding out some information and then make an estimate. But we were wondering if companies submit bids throughout the year if the contract of the previous company is almost up? Is there a time of year that is too early to submit a bid ( we live in minnesota)? How does the entire process work? and can anyone e-mail me a sample of a contract?
