I have a question regarding how you handle estimates...

    1) Who measures the property (mowing, trimming, etc.)?

    2) Who calculates the cost to the customer?

    3) Who presents this to the customer?

    Thanks in advance..

i do it all unless i got someone helping me (little sister comes in handy for holding the tape measure), i dont break down the calculations unless customer has a big problem with the price, often i find they dont like material markup and this and that less they know the better.

I measure properties, I calculate the bids unless I want to bring in outsiders for a second opinion on price. As far as presentation goes, that depends. Sometimes the customer gets the proposal from the mail box, sometimes from my hand, and sometimes from a fax machine.
