What engines are they putting on these mowers now? Can you still get them with the Kawasakis or do they come with Hondas now?

Thanks for the post. The Metro 21's we are shipping are Honda powered. There still may be a few Kawasaki 21's at dealerships around the country but you should find mostly Honda powered units.

I see you have been using JD JX85 mowers. That is what I used for years until they quit building them. I got the last three Exmark 21's our dealer had with the Kawasaki engine. I love them. However, be sure and demo the new Exmark 21" in some heavy mulching conditions. I have used Honda-powered mowers in the past, and found the Honda engine to be "gutless", compared to the Kawasaki engines. Exmark may have found a cure for this, but do not buy one without a demo. in some thick grass.
