Need help diagnosing this problem. The mower will start and the parking brake can be release but once you pull the handles in the mower stalls. I think the problem is the the switch on the brake but before I drive all over tomorrow I wanted to see what some other people thought.

Bypass the seat switch and try it.

The seat switch was the first thing I tried. I have had that happen before. I had to call around this morning to half dozen shops and finally found the brake switch. Will have it hooked up later this morning. Hopefully that is the answer.

:dizzy: well, I'm in a pickle now. The new switch I got didn't cure the problem. Now I am wondering if it is just a bad contact somewhere since I was able to get it to work for a shot time yesterday afternoon. The lawns are starting to back up

Found the problem, Something actually came unplugged. My last ditch effort was to unplug and replug every connection I could find and in that process I found a connection not fully engaged. Problem solved!
