What color and type of paint do you exmark runners use for touch up. I also have a walkbehind I would like to repaint before season. Is their an actual paint code for the exmark?

Jodie (1majortom), the moderator on here, did a thread regarding this, and found a common brand spray paint that is like an exact match for this.

I have a spray can in my tool box that was a perfect match for my exmark. Will have to see what the code on the can was.

Your Exmark dealer will have it in a spray can. It is the original paint, not just a close match.

International Harvester Red from Tractor supply. Check out the picture under my name I repainted the Lazer Z with it. I had did a search on the color match and that was the color I found that was said to be a match. It was almost a dead match.

How do you go about painting a mower? Are you stripping everything off the frame or just taping off everything?

got a lazer z hp that is 8 yrs old, i was thinking of painting too, curious to know if painting the mower is that hard to do ? thanks

I repainted one of my metros this past spring. I used the IH red from tractor supply. It is a perfect match. I put the hardener in with it and had great results. I stripped everything off of it, sand blasted it, and sprayed it with an hvlp gun. Good luck!!
