A customer wants to extend thier lawn into a lightly wooded area. They got the urge from looking at the neighbors. No heavy shade and the lawn grows well next door.

My question is...whats the easiest way to clear the area of saplings, brush, etc.

Ask the neighbor. You may also want to ask of the grass species.

Gravely walk-behind tractor with a 30" bush hog. Check your rental place, see if they have one. If you're lucky, they have the roto-tiller attachment for it too.
