These are not self priming. I do have a few higher end pumps that I would be willing to part with that are self priming. Just let me know what flow rate you need so I can see if I have one that would work for your application.

I have a self-priming ESS7800 for $332.00 (shipping not included). The best buy would be the ES8500 because even with a self-priming pump you still have to install a check valve on the suction line unless the pumps sets below water level (flooded suction).

Yes I do have some of the 2" and 3" priming pots/debris traps on hand. The 2" will handle pumps up to 6000 gph and the 3" will handle up to 14,000 gph of flow.

Just to straighten me out here.........I would need to position the pump under the water level of the pond, or under the bottom level of the pond.

Please forgive me. I don't know very much about this.
