f-150 vs. 16' trailer

    I have seen a crew last season with a newer ford F150 with the 5.4 triton pulling a 8x20 enclosed. Think they carried 2 zero turns in it. Seemed to handle it ok.

    The new 5.4L with 6 speed auto can tow 11K when properly equipped! With 2wd and lower gears it'd be OK for seasonal use and more than likely get better mileage than an even lower geared (4.10) F250 with the 5.4L.
