I am considering buying a used Gravely 260Z in MD. It is about 3 years old with only a couple hundred hours on it. It appears to be in very good condition. It is a 27 HP Kohler Command Pro Twin w/ 60" deck and has the mulching kit and bag.

I know the retail is about $8500. What is a fair price to offer for

    Thanks in advance!

A good price on a 3yr old Gravely? What options does it have? Lift master, mulch baffles, lights, suspension seat. What does it look like, service records, etc?
I do not prefer to say with out answers. Also, be aware that location in the US will determine price. Also remember that new machines can often be had with low or no interest loans that have low monthly payments.

My local dealer is Gravely, and I asked him. Same response I had. He told me the older 260Z require retrofit kits to utilize features found on the '02 and after 260Z's.
I have seen the older units myself, and I wouldn't go over $2000. There has been a big change in hydraulic pump configuration, ground speed, pulley sizes for blade tip speed, etc.

I was offered $5500 @ the beginning of this summer for my I believe 5 year old Gravely 260z and I didn't take it. I am not saying I felt it was a low ball offer, but I just didn't want to sell it. Didn't want the payments. :) At the time it had about 320 hours on it.
