Fair Price???

    Hey Guys,Just went out to the post office and found a 2002 2500 Chevy HD for sale down the street, Reg cab long wheel base in excellent condition 2WD with a automatic. Mileage is 153000. Can get it at $6500.00 it has towing package and trailer brake package. Let me know your opions! Krusty

    What engine does it have? That will tell us a lot.

    6.0-liter OHV V8 with cast iron block
    300hp @ 4400
    360ft-lbs. @ 4000

    Went by and drove it this evening drove out very well no obvious problems beside a small exhaust leak...The man that owns it bought a new 2500 with the diesel in it. Said he racked up the miles driving from here in Tennessee to Michighan to see his family. Truck is in excellent condition and has been kept very clean.

    I'd pass because the trannies probably about to take a crap. Do you have any more info?

    $6500 maybe what it's worth, but NO WAY you are going to get it for that price for an 02' I'd say they are gonna want a minimum of $10,000 for it.

    id be sketchy with a price that low for an '02 and depending what your doing or where you live you probably want 4wd.
