I'll do what the customer wants as far as when and how many times they want me to come. But I usually tell them I come after all or most the leaves are down which puts me into November here. I'd rather do a cleanup 1 time rather than 3. I'll just stay on top of it and mulch most leaves until I'm done mowing sometime in October.

It depends on if they have any significant trees that drop leaves. If they don't and it doesn't need cleaned up until late November then it's a one time deal. If they have trees all over the place, I'll start then on every 2 weeks or until they start to drop fast. I bag everything when doing cleanups. It just looks better imho.

We will usually do 2-3 cleanups dependign on the property. Two of them are generally just leaf pickups where we go through and pick up all the leaves on the lawn areas, then a final cleanup where we go through all the beds, but back all the perennials (that need to be) and do any ornamental pruning that needs to be done. Then go over the lawn the final time. Like others said it really depends on when the leaves start to drop.

I cant wait for fall i love leaves . we make more off our clients in a few months then we do all year of mowing . We are considering running a fall cleanup only test rig this year where they push or blow the leaves to the curb and vac them up in to our large containment trailer we are considering $325.00 a hour with a 2 man crew then if needd have a follow up crew mow them if needed

Pine needles may start in as little as 3 weeks here... Poplars are dropping now and maples can come at anytime depending on the level of stress...

How often in a season cleanup is done, depends entirely on th debris' ability to kill grass... My rule of thumb is Leaves sit for no more than 2 weeks Less if there's lots of rain...
