I want to do some overseeding this fall but I don't feel like I know enough about it. I ask around and get even more confused. The guy at Lesco recommended thier transistion blend and said that a 50 lb bag would cover about 1/4 acre. Then another LCO friend recommended Kentucky 31 and said don't put more than 40 lbs per acre that sounds pretty thin to me. What do you all think?
I mean what are some good guidelines?

I use Lesco blend around 50lbs per 1/2 to 3/4 acre depends on how thick or thin the grass is. Lesco has a much finer blade than K31 plus less weeds and better Germ.
