i have lived on a farm my whole life here in oklahoma and i run john deere equiptment, the reason is they have good machinery and they have more dealers around me. i am thinking about getting out of the farming business because this last year we had the worst drought i can ever remember. you can,t make any money anymore if you can,t depend on mother nature.

I've been farming 365 days a year for about the last six years. I don't think I will ever stop.

Not a whole lot of farming. Grew up on a ranch. Able all we did was cut hay. Alfalfa mix.

I grew up in North Dakota and farmed for the first part of my life. We ran red and green machines. My favorite still is the 3788 2+2. I would spend endless hours in that machine. Certainly not without its share of problems but the concept was excellent.
