I am ordering post cards and will probably actually use most of them like flyers, but my main questions is I need to know if it is worth double the price to go to a 6 x 9 size verses the original 4x6 size.

    4x6 5000 postcard is $200

    6x9 5000 postcards is $450

I already have paid for the design and picked the company out so please help me with the price difference issue more than why not get them here or there.

I think the 4x6 should be fine. The reason the 6x9s are more expensive is not only because of the size, its because the printer you're using must run high volumes of standard size postcards. The paper and the ink is not the major cost to the printer, it's the operation of the press. Switching the press to a different format is the costly part. I would also ask the printer is the 6x9s have the same turnaround rate. My uncle owns a printing company in Pittsburgh and we were just talking about this the other day. Based on those prices that printer must print lots lots 4x6s so they might hold off a few days till they get more 6x9s to print.

where did you get the postcards? 5000 for $200, seems like an ok deal to me. Are they color? double sided?

Yes they are double sided glossy color.

    Tell me what you think.

The top two is the front and back of the postcard, the middle set is for a door hanger and the bottom is the logo he designed for me.

This guy has a lawncare biz and does this on the side because nobody else specializes in printing for lco's. He is very good.
