I have customer that is desiring to replace her mulch with a nice ground cover. Her mulch washed away quickly, and doesn't like having to replace the mulch twice a year, only to have it look pretty for 3 months, and then have it slowly wash away.

Ant suggestions on a good ground cover for this application? Also any issues you have had with using a ground cover in this application.

    Much Thanks

i would suggest asiatic jasmine and or yellow lantana both can be trimmed with string trimmer to maintain shape

]asmine is quick growing, low in height and rich in color. It's the best ground cover I've found in the panhandle for full sun or shady areas.

Lantana gets a little higher and covers quick. I'm not too much of a fan of this but some love it. I'll plant it if they want and pay for it, obviously.

There are several varieties of ivy out there too but they'll over take anything in its way.
