Have there been any issues with intermittent oil pressure sending units on the Honda 20hp Fastraks? A co-worker has the exact same 20/52 Fastrak unit and has been experiencing the oil/engine light coming on while running the machine. The engine oil level has been checked frequently and always found to be on the full mark. I have not experienced any problems with mine.

The Honda oil pressure switches are super sensitive, the oil has to be exact.
Is he operating on any inclines or slopes ?, that would make the indicator come on.
If he is not, I would have that unit back to the dealer ASAP and have them check the oil pressure with a guage to be sure there is not a bad switch.
Let me know how this comes out.
