I was called today by a rep for the federal suppliers guide and she claimed that this is the go to publication that state and federal government agencies use when they are looking to hire a company to either purchase goods or services, and that they prefer to use small business allot so that they feed the economy. My take on it so far is that it is a glorified yellow pages and may be a waste of money as the most inexpensive ad is $600.00 per year on up to $2500.00 per year depending on size, I am going to be speaking to a rep tomorrow so that I can hear all of the info but would like to know if anyone has been involved with this and if so does it bring you business or was it a waste of advertising capital?
