I'm in the process of revamping my website. Based on feedback I have heard, customers would like to view their billing on-line and also see when they are scheduled for services.

I'm looking for some feedback. My site is
Click on customer zone and use "test" as the email address and "test" as the password. Let me know what you think.

    Comments are appreciated. thanks.

Does anyone have a web site with similar functionality?

    Looks real good.

    I like the customer section.

How did you write the backend customer login ?

My full time job is a applications supervisor. I've been developing web sites for years. Now I'm putting my experience to work for my hobby LawnMonster.

It's all coded in Microsoft .Net

    I figured it was.

Do you use access as the DB?

Yes. My I keep my books (scheduling, billing, customer management) on my local pc. I'm in the process of developing a link that will update the database on my website whenever a change is made on my local record keeping system. When it is all done, it should be pretty neat.

    Sounds great -

I thought of the section a bit ago. Going to have to apply this to my website when I get it going.

Yeah, actually thinking of doing a similar thing with PHP on my website. I'm currently designing it locally, so I can't give it out yet. I really like like your password script. Its pretty secure, not like some idiots who use javascript to handle passwords and Id's.

I'm assuming you are still working on the tools and references pages, cause they don't load.

The one thing I don't like, however, is your opening screen. Maybe you could change the background (not grass) or just fade the background a little more. It's a little distracting how it is now, and just a bit hard to read.

Also, another thing I was thinking of - is you might want to put in some pictures of your work. It'd be a nice touch to put on there for prospective customers to view.

Good job though - nice clean coding,

guess this is the "experienced geek" thread... i spent 10 years in high-end ecomm consulting before stetching my entrepreneurial legs. good to see more of you.

i'd trim down the verbiage on the homepage. it's pretty condensed looking, and a bit wordy for something that should really be the attention grabber that filters the visitor to the relevant areas. ie, maybe list the services w/o the descriptives. i'd also add a small, good quality, pic or 2 on that page to balance it out a bit.

since you plan on putting some actual effort into this site, don't forget about building your content around search engine optimization.

also, love the logo. definitely a creative take, although i might be biased. as a huge fan of "nightmare before christmas", it reminds me of one of the characters in the movie.
