ANy updates on this?
I'm curious how sharp the blades are, when they were sharpened last, just for reference I put sharp ones on every time I put fuel in the tank, some folks swap every 10-16 lawns, others daily... Far as I'm concerned in this business you have to have sharp blades and when I say sharp there can be no question about it because it's just not optional.
I put razor sharp blades on a unlevel deck and the results were horrible. I had incorrectly leveled the deck. So once I fixed that it was cutting better but still more stingers than usual. I think maybe cut grass is getting in the way of middle blade? Still trying to resolve it though.
look under your deck and right behind the discharge opening there is a bolt on baffle. I think 3 bolts hold it in place. Unbolt that baffle and remove it from the deck. See if that helps your cut. Is the top of the deck building up with grass faily quick?
Did you try slowing down? Most Ferris owners mow too fast because of the smooth ride.
