I am in the market for the ISX 3300 ETC and for now the availability is scarce in the KS area. Plan to purchase first part of year or when I see one at local dealers. The only ones I see are at least several states away.

Does anyone think these machines will be delayed due to the various production and component shortages? Do these models reach dealers at certain months after the first of the year? My dealer said check back with him in December.

I was thinking about calling my dealer to see if I could buy one also. I did not know they are hard to find.

Does the vanguard etc system tie in with the blade engagement switch on the ferris like the exmark red system does with kohler engines?

There are only a couple features on my old exmark with red that I miss having on my is3200 but one of them was the automatic rpm adjustment when engaging /disengaging blades no matter which of the three throttle settings I was on.

The other is the ability to lock the deck adjustment lever so the deck can't accidentally get bumped up to the transport height without me noticing, this is also nice for when you need to feather the deck over stuff, it would just drop back down to the cut height when you take your foot off the pedal rather than having to push that lever over, (which I forget sometimes)
I Remove the spring that holds the deck lever in place. I do this with every Ferris I have. I also engaged blades at full throttle. I know I definitely have to do this on my 2016 is 3200 with the 72 or deck belt my come off. My 2019 model has different belt system .

I'll try removing the spring.
Mine has the 2 belt deck setup and I've had zero belt problems so far at 900 hours and both belts are still in good shape.
The 2 belt system is excellent. I just broke my first belt the longer one this week at 1200 hrs. It was a quick easy change to fix. The 2016 models had one big belt and that wears out fast.
