What type of fertilizer would you reccomend for holly, loropetalum, crapes, and jap maples? I bought several 2.5" cups and have bumped them up to one gallon and need them to put on some growth.

Most growers will use Osmocote or a similar slow release fertilizer. Different formulas for different types of plants. Depending on species, that growth may come slowly and eventually, no matter how much fertilizer you use.

If you have potted them up in a growers mix, which is very porous, the slow release with constant watering will be the key to success, but watch out for pest and disease issues.
