Fertilizer liscense

Can someone tell me how to get a fertilizing liscense? Thanks.

You don't need one if you are only applying fertilizer. You will need one if you want to apply any pesticides i.e. weed control, fungicides or insecticides.

Well in the state of Minnesota you need a licence for any of it, if its for charity that is. So you can spray, they tip you, no licence. Easy isn't it? Or just plain f'ed up

If I'm not mistaken, it's federal guidelines that states you don't need a license to apply fertilizer. I was told that you need a license for any chemical that ends with "cide" if you plan on applying it.

I have been looking for a answer to this for awhile! how is it in Tennessee? can i lay down fertilizer without a license? and can i spray round-up without one?

Cripes, doesn't anyone know how to contact your own state's Dept of Ag??
Every state has different regulations regarding fertilizer application.

Here's a hint, Google "fertilizer license your state name".
Then try the same secret technique for pesticide license.
