Hello, I am starting a lawn care business and I would like to provide fertilizing and weed control services, but I don't know anything about either service. So I was wondering if someone could direct me to a site or provide me with some information on the proper use and application of fertilizers and weed killers. Thanks for your help.

Look up your states Dept. of Agriculture and there will be guidelines and laws pertaining to this. That is a good start.

Maybe you could try networking with someone in your area that provides these services. Then you can recommend them to your clients and they can recommend you to their clients who need lawn maintenance. Just a thought.

What about contacting a local nursery? That is if the Dept of Agriculture isn"t much help. There is only one other lawn care service that does fertilizing and weed control, they travel 60 miles to come here and mow lawns not recommend them to someone else. You know what I mean.
