sweetmake sure you wipe all the hoses down with fluid film too
will do! im going to spray my new trucks sheet metal (inside of it) down once a week along with brake lines and other various components. i dont want this one to rust in 5 years.
didn't read your thread, just skimmed threw some of the pics, looks like u got yourself a really professional looking setup
i wish i had discoverd ff years ago, can't wait to see how our truck frames hold up this winter after being heavily coated
they have to hold up better then the old way.............. nothin at all. im also going to mix up a bucket of atf fluid and diesel fuel to spray on the big trucks and boxes. i hate salt.
salt sukks! and that liquid crap is the worst
i had a guy tell me they can order the liquid with a special aditive in it so it wont rust metal??? said they dont because it cost more but not very much more. go figure, we all buy the county boys new trucks every five years anyways. must be nice,
round here our town guys still have a fandfull of early 80's chevy pickups and some of the big dump trucks dating back to the 70's. they only update when absolutely necessary. heck even our fire department has an 80's chevy pickup
haaaaaaaaa thats not the case around me. they have the latest greatest everything from new f-350s to new deere loaders to new trucks and new fire trucks in town. dodge charger police cars. they dont own anything old. the city just got a new cat backhoe and the paint the the old ones bucket wasnt even worn down. i believe "we need the depreciation" is the line they use when questioned. They have a fleet of little single axle kodiak dumps they use for various jobs, they guys just thrash on the trucks, they drive them like they are gocarts.
that's not right
Here's my fridge in the garage along with my fluid film bottle opener! And my awesome new Fluid Film shirt....
