I have a customer who has a coy pond.....2ft deep and 4 feet by 4feet....how would you recommend filling it in as she doesnt like it....should I just bring in some loam and pack it in or use a base of gravel or rock then loam over it??

Empty Pond
Remove liner
Fill with a little over 1 yard of soil

As for filling. What will be the replacement?

Though it is realy small and would be much easier to just bring in screened topsoil

Use regular fill dirt for the hole and just a couple inches of topsoil. 2 ft. of topsoil will stay soft for a long time and it's a waste of money. Look for a construction site and see if they have any fill available, you may get it free. Then a couple bags of topsoil and some seed.

I have 6 inches of top soil for my home lawn.

Any lawns with a couple inches, that meaning like 2 inches is in trouble.
