I got my redmax eb7001 two days ago. Here are some pics of it after it's first day on the job. It is very good on fuel also. :dizzy:

have one as well, LOVE it, i would'nt get an 8000, i have used them side by side and IMO when you compare weight/power/comfort/price.....the 7001 is better in my book. JMO..... have a good time with the blower

I bought one last year, had it a few weeks and now it's junk :hammerhead:
I loaded it onto my trailer, stopped to get mulch and set it on the ground, oups. Phone rang, got in my truck, strated to drive off and noticed something didn't feel normal. Got out, blower wedged under trailer in peices :hammerhead:

I was going to buy a 8k but by the way the 7001 sounds, I might be leaning to that now. I'll get one before spring.

I can remember the days when all I used was a handheld echo 2100 then I switched to a bp echo ... Needless to say I now own two 7001's They seem to be the industry standard!! Good luck this coming season!!

i got the 8000 and it ROCKS. yes it is heavier then the 7001 but i only could afford one blower at the time and i wanted the biggest blower becasue of clean ups. I don;t mind the heavyness when i am blowing a 200' driveway and an walk at a fast pace not stopping for missed debris. EXCELLENT BLOWER IMO. I will be purchasing a 7001 or another 8001 this year. I think i might go with the 7001 so i can use it fdor everyday mowing/blow. What you guys think. I am not gunna get a push blower sinc emy properties i do are less then a 1/4 acre total. LawnInOrder

That will be a great blower for you. I've got the ebz8000 for big jobs and the ebz4800 for the average stuff. RedMax makes awesome blowers IMO.

Yes. It is amazing. Anybody want my echo?:hammerhead:

Did any of you eb7001 owners check that muffler plate problem that redmax has on their site? They say they're recalling blowers from 1996 up to 2005 in december. Mine was made in september 05. I can't see anyway that the muffler can touch the gas tank without the plastic housing breaking first. Any thoughts on this?
