SUNRISE: Bundle up, it might snow today September 21, 2009 6:37 AM MARIA ST.LOUIS-SANCHEZ THE GAZETTE On the last official day of summer, the National Weather Service predicts the first snowfall for the season today. The service predicts a cold wet day today with thunderstorms and a high of 48 degrees, and then a 30 percent chance of snow tonight. The cold, wet pattern is predicted for the next few days. Came back from Snowmass/Aspen area yesterday, and got snowed on going over Independence Pass. Winter is here early. I haven't even sent my cards out yet for blowing out systems. They arrive here today. Go out on Wed/Thur.
