first frost

has anyone got their first frost yet? we are supposed to get ours Tuesday night.

No frost here yet. It is late this year. We have had a warm/mild October. Last year we had a hard frost on 10-9. Up in Vermont they have had snow (grassmanvt has a pic).

We had a pretty good one a couple of weeks ago, but in the meantime it warmed up to some record temps. Bottom started dropping out Sunday, and a hard freeze is forecast for tonight as well as for tomorrow. Mowing is almost over, due to the dry weather more than the frost. We got some rain over the weekend, but with the frost, I suspect I will only have possibly one more cut on most properties, and none at all on a couple. I didn't mow at all last week.

No frost here in Norteastern, Ohio. I do expect some in the next 7-10 days or so.

We had our first good frost 10/24 . However my grass has been dead for days and I do not see use getting any rain for at least another 10 days, maybe longer.

Yeah, and I should try to get some pictures of our new snow last night. It varied form town to town but localy we got anywhere from a dusting to 6 or 8 inches. A ski area about an hour and a half north got 20 inches. It felt weird out plowing while listening to a baseball game. I think thats a first for me.
