I have a dodge dually and am thinking about putting a flat bed on it. Does anyone have any reasons, why or why not they would put a flat bed on their dually? Also, where can I find a pretty decently priced flat bed?

I almost did that to my old Powerstroke that I ended up selling instead. Worst thing i kept coming up with was I would have to strap down or secure everything all the time. I like being able to toss stuff in the bed and head down the road. I guess if you had some removable sides it would help, but then when you want the sides off you would have to leave them somewhere or take up bed space hauling them. I can see always not having them when I need them, or them being in the way when I did have them. I always liked the design of the Home Depot or Lowes rental trucks with the sides that fold down out of the way, but I bet they are spendy, especially in aluminum like most of their trucks are. Depends on what you plan to do with it I suppose. BTW, if I were to ever do a flatbed conversion on a pickup chassis, i wouldn't bother unless it was a dump. JMO - But that makes it even more expensive.
