What kind of warranty is there on the flex forks and average life span?
All of Hustlers accessories and attachments have a 1 year warranty. I have seen Flex fork with over 1000 hours on them working just fine. I'll let the field respond to the life of the forks.
75 hours on my fastrak 54 and they are doing great. My Backyard is pretty rough and they made a huge difference.
I've seen Z's with in excess of 2700 hrs with the original forks...they were getting some wear on them and required adjustments on the deck from time to time, but still did the job they were designed to do.
I have them on my Super Z and overall really like them since the front tires are hard rubber (no give). I sometimes get going a bit fast and hit a new (unknown) "bump" and have to look back to see if I just scalped my lawn and/or damage to my blades by hitting dirt/rocks, usually not since I mow at the 3.5 to 4.0 inch setting (depends on the terrain being mowed), but sometimes yes. I have just shy of 70 hours and counting at this time. No indication of a problem, they are heavy duty.
Will flex forks fit on a Scag?
Nope, the flex forks are unique to the Excel products from our new 104" Zero turn unit to our new home owner 42" Raptor.
I have over 3000 hrs on mine, not a problem with them yet.
