Just trying to get the link. it was posted about 2 weeks ago. HELP!
all requirements are in there
BTW you only need a liscence for applying fertilizer with a pesticide in it,
weed and feed, pre-m,insecticide, etc
you do not need to be certified for straight fert.
You are looking for the Sarasota County fertilizer license??
BTW No Nitrogen or Phosphate fertilizer may be legally applied from June 1st until Sept 30. Legally being the key word here. How these idiots think they can get compliances of this law is be on me. St Johns county has a similar law and no one follows it either.
PS I am not in or work in Sarasota or St Johns county.
Was this what you're looking for?
That is the state task force website and not up to date. Jan 15 2008 that same body put before the laws makers a Recommended new state wide Law. To my knowledge it has not passed yet, But will past. I have a copy in PDF that was e mailed to me. It is actually not a totally bad recommended law. It will hurt those doing all liquid fert application.
JDS720 lives in Venice Fla and is subject to the current Sarasota county fertilizer ordinance. Which require a CEU class in BMP and a short idiots test to apply fertilizer in Sarasota county.
here's the link to get Sarasota County Cert that i have and the course that is need is called Green Industries Best Management Practices Training
and any company truck and trailer has to have a sticker on all of them to let enforcement know your licensed.
