Summertime flowerbox bloomers are all on their way out. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can replace them with? Something made to look great this time of year thru the fall????? Thanks.

Flower pots and window boxes full of annuals should be in their prime right now... the trailing vines all the way to the ground, large clumps of colored foliage really filling in and the deadheaded flowers coming back for their second wind before the end...
Redoing flower pots/boxes now isn't really worth the trouble for us,,, especially now that leaf litter will be blowing around everywhere...

depends on sun/shade, etc. Perennials are awesome for boxes and pots! Mums are good for only 3-4 weeks, but sedums, hostas, asters, coral bells, salvias. The obvious ones are the mums, pansies and violas.

Panzies would be my first choice. Sometimes if the winter isn't too harsh they'll survive into spring.
