When can we expect to start getting responses from fliers? We put out about 1300 over the last two days and have received no calls. Slightly discouraging! Unfortunately, it wasn't windy at the beginning of the day so we weren't using tape in the paper boxes. Then it got windy. Hopefully we didn't create too much of a mess. Now I'm kind of dreading a call. Littering fines are stiff. Just remember to always use tape when distributing fliers!

Dont sweat it man its still March......however you should start getting calls soon (April) if this weather that we are getting sticks around. This is unbelievable! You'll get some calls, hopefully it wont be price shoppers either! Good Luck

but is that $19 per week for an entire year???? Could just be creative marketing. He's stretching his payments out over the winter months and making the savings look huge! Could go either way I suppose!

I got one even better. While doing flyers sat I found a tri fold full color flyer (not cheap) on the ground. It said he charges 30% less than competors then went on to say that he would mow any lawn in this area for $25 - $35 per cut. These lawns were at least 2 acres some had to be more than 4 acres. My dads lawn is 3 acres, so I am sure of the size. Most of those yards I wouldn't touch for less than $80. I guess it takes all kinds. :hammerhead: :hammerhead:

$19.99 for an 1/8 acre...that's tiny. maybe he has little or no overhead and can make money cutting with a 21". of course, then i see 24.49 for a 1/2 acre and 30.49 for 1!

I was placing door hangers today and ran into an illegal (no hablo ) he is advertising 20 a yard which is 5 less than I can go. I guess I shouldn't feel too bad after further review of his flyer I noticed several spelling mistakes, and if I can notice them it must be bad, cause I can't spell worth S*&T
