    How long after submittal?
    How often?
    When do you give up?

After about a week, and then I call and ask if they have any questions. I am done at that point unless that ask for something else. I then add them to all my future mailings. I never ask for the job directly like a true salesman would.

How long after submittal? within about a week or so
How often? once a week. by e-mail or phone
When do you give up? When I've been told to buzz off or realize they went forward with someone else

How long after? 3 days after, if they are still unsure every 3 days until I close or they definitely tell me no. I will usually try to overcome any questions or objections in the first call. I usually never have more than 2 or 3 follow up calls upon each submittal.
