I am looking at a 1996 Ford Super Duty dually, 7.3 power stroke diesel, with a 8 ft dump bed. The truck has 167,000 miles on it. Exterior is great shape and the engine is strong. The guy selling it is asking between 3500-4500. What would you guys think that a truck like this goes for? Thanks

That's a good deal there, There are ones here (94-97) going anywhere from 10,000 to 17,000.

Sounds like a decent deal i paid 5500 for a 96 with 75k on it.
  4. Sounds like a good deal. Go to carfax and see if it has had any major problems, it's worth the few bucks.

If the box isn't rusted off of it go for it that is a good deal I paid 15,000 CND for my 95 F-Superduty it only has a 12' flatdeck truck had 205,000kms (127,387 mile) when I bought it.

Just check to make sure it was not a truck that was resurected from the floods in New Orleans. If not, that's a steal. You could run it for a year and sell it for more than you paid if you take care of it.
