I heard Ford and Peugeot were working on the engine.
Have to see how well the new engine goes.
They just need to stick a Cummins in it and be done with it. No problems.
I really like what I read, I bet this engine will be a winner.
wow...finally.... my 6.4 is in for various things. i love how it starts in the winter like a gas engine, i love the power, i hate the fuel mileage. why cant they put some preasure relief valve in the turbo boost so you can back it down to save on fuel. i think its crazy to drive at 70mph at 25 psi of boost and sitting at 38psi up a hill under load. i dont need that power when towing let alone driving. a knob to lower boost would save some fuel.
The boost is what gives you the fuel economy plus it is part of the emmissions it gives you a hotter fire so less smoke.
yep, more air also equals greater dilution of particulates, helps it to meet the emissions requirements.
i'll stick with pre-emission diesels
