I believe that would be another powerstroke, which has always been made by International. I dont know much more about it then that LOL.

Is that the twin turbo one where they have two turbos to try and pass emissions? All the powerstrokes are made by international as said above.

It is a twin turbo. Ford and Dodge are introducing new diesels for '07 because of the new extremely low sulfur diesel fuel and emission requirements. With all the problems with the 6.0 the first two years, I'm sure staying away until at least '09.

Check out dieselstop.com and ford-trucks.com for a ton of opinions and news.

It isnt because of the low sulfur diesel as current engine designs will do ok with that stuff but it is because of dodge's absence of a cab n chassis truck. Dodge is introducing a new 6.7L diesel to become a player in the cab n chassis commercial truck market. Their 2500 and 3500 pickups will still be using the same 325/610 5.9L cummins diesel. I know ford is bringing up the twin turbo diesel mainly to pass emissions.

It will not be out untill 08 i wanted one it was supposed to be out for 07 but it failed something probably emissions. I am friends with my ford dealer and that is what he tolld me. I would think the problems with the 6.0 they would not put out 2 lemons back to back. I just bought an 06 with in the last month due to the fuel change, i had it posted some time ago.

The need to bring back the 7.3. It worked great forever and then they had to go and screw it up.

There will never be a replacement for the 7.3. The 4.5 Powerstroke is almost identical to the 6.4, just downsized. Sequential turbos to cut down on lag. The 4.5/LCF combo is really a neat truck. I believe the 6.4 is not very different from the 6.0.

Sequential turbos to cut down on emissions...VGT turbos already reduce the lag to nothing.

should be interesting....Ford can't even get 1 turbo right more or less 2! I have heard it will be a small turbo in front of a large turbo to give it more boost from a dead stop.
