hey guys I just stumbled upon a 1997 chevrolet 1500 z 71. it has 110000 miles a 5.7 liter v 8 and is in perfect condition. no dents scratches nothing. cold ac and service records. good bf goodrich 331050 with less than 20000 miles on them. the guy wants 7 for it? good price. my dad bought about 6 months ago the same year model and everything for 4000 but it has about 3 good dents in it no ac and the interior was pretty well worn and it was at 175000. oh it is a extended cab shortbed.

well I knew it was overpriced and I know I can get him down to about 4500. anyways so do yall think that would be a good price? our other ttruck that we bought just like it has been great. and it now has 200000 on it. we fixed the ac on it yesterday turned out to just be a 3 buck seal and some freon and it is cold. and we took it to the interior shop and for 150 bucks it is good as new. I need a truck for me to just drive as I am not goin to drive my 76 dodge d100 for daily use and the 77 dodge sucks too much gas. and this truck would be a good fit for me.??????? help me out here.

$4500 isnt a bad price however just try not to get in a hurry. The way gas prices are right now you can find some very nice trucks for cheap. Just stay patient. It sounds like you have found a nice truck but like I said just try to look around some more and see what you can find. Good Luck

Either it's priced right to begin with, or keep on looking, no haggling.
That's the attitude to have if you don't feel like paying too much.

That sounds about right, if it looks really nice.

I don't think $4500 would be unfair for a truck in that good of condition. We have a '97 z71 and that is a good year in my opinion. I have owned 2 and liked both of them.

You have 2 trucks listed in your signiture already. I'm not sure if they are on the road or projects or what but why the need for a 3rd truck? Seems like to much overhead to me.

well thats what I was thinkin it is in such good shape I mean there isn't a scratch on it and he said he has never painted oh ya its a one owner truck. And ya the trucks in my sig one is a project the other gets 8 mpg. so I wanted some thing a bit more practical and with ac. so I reckon I will see how much he will let it go for tommorow.
