what can i use to kill it with out killing the yard?
MSMA should work.
We just tell customers, "It's prevented in the spring" (2008). This seems to work for us, and the customers understand. On new sod, we apply Dimension (with fert) as late as early August. Foxtail loves to grow in the "seams" of the sod.
yeah it is actually at my house and i just layed the sod about a month ago and it is growing in the cracks like crazy and i know the pre app in the spring would kill it but i need to kill it now because it looks bad.
does lesco carry that?
They should carry it. also Trimec Plus would work, it has MSMA and would also work for spraying other broad-leaf weeds.
Q4 will do a great job on foxtail and crabgrass. Expensive, but worth it!
why do you have fox tails this time of year?
