Has anyone used either of these blowers? What are your thoughts and experiences? Selbro makes a mid-mount for Scag and Exmark. I would attach the mid-mount Selbro to an exmark Lazer AS 23 hp. The Fradan can be purchased for $2400 and the Selbro for $1700 plus shipping from Ohio. Leaf season is soon upon us. Thank you.

GET THE FRADAN. My friends convinced my cousin and I to check it out and we both bought one. I wouldn't trade it for anything else. It is worth the money. You gotta go and check out the Fradan. I am telling you- you will love it! I am trying to think where you can find one. I see your located in CT. I have a cousin in Bridgeport and he bought his at Lewis Lawnmower. I bought mine at Pro Landscape in Stamford. But I am sure Brandmans and New Canann lawn have them as well. You can also check out their website. I am sure they have a dealer locator.

So is this 18HP $2400 Fradan self-propelled, and does it have brakes?

No. I just $500 on a Redmax 8000. Maybe next year. I was contacted by John Deere in Connecticut. They now have a Hurricane made by Hurricane. Its a blower and vacuum. But it is quite pricey.

Bought the fradan 18 sight unseen in 2005 my dealer tipped me off on it but didn’t have one in stock he let me know he was being allowed 4 that season. Got mine for the promo introduction price of $2199 I cannot tell you enough how obsolete it makes the push blowers. Giant vac, Billy goat, little wonder iv used them all compared to my fradan one word for ya they are junk! Name of the game is production fresh guys last longer and get more work done this was made with that in mind the handles are the most comfortable of any iv ever tried and despite the levers to go forward or back it feels just as good with or with our gloves on. You buy this you only need one for a crew of 3-4 the rest can do backpacks it eliminates a push blower man no need. As for where to buy it that’s easy Hamden ct frenette's power equipment tell Dave I sent ya.

that redmax ebz8000 is the cat daddy for leaf work we sold our 5 hp little wonder walk blowers because that 8000 is easier to manuver than a walk blower an blows better as well, I did a leaf job the other day an I worked up a windrow about 150 long an 6feet high in about an hour, the 8000 is amazing!!

I got the 13 hp little wonder this year and it does an awesome job, but i've heard so many great things about the fradan...Maybe see if you can demo them? Try testing wind speed with water bottles (filled) at different distances for each machine. Thats how I tested my little wonder vs. smaller models, other fradan etc...
