I heard a while back someone saying they ran fuel stabil all year...does anyone else do this? Should I just save it for storage use?

I only use it when I prep the machines for winter storage

I used it in all equipment fuel through last year, year-round. Now I only use it in 2 cycle year round ( I have some I may not use for months) and in a walk-behind that I have not been using much.
It does not hurt, but save your money.

For your 2 cycles, many oils contain a fuel stabilizer

I think almost all 2 cycle oil has a fuel stabilizer in it. We sell Optimol, Shindaiwa & Stihl oil and they all have fuel stabilizer added.

We use 50:1 in everything except diesels and have never allowed straight gas in our shop. Every piece of new equipment gets 50:1 and eliminates the chance of using the wrong fuel can.
This procedure works very well and has never caused a problem with plug fouling or excessive exhaust smoke.
