Hello all. I am looking into getting a small older bobcat and have seen several with external fuel tanks bolted on. The reason quoted each time has been that the built-in tank went bad and could not be replaced. Is this likely to be the truth or is someone simply too lazy to do the job right? Thanks in advance.

I'm not familiar with Bob cat brand but it would be hard to believe it can't be replaced. We have a Deere 250 Skid-steer and I wouldn't want to have to replace the tank in it, So I would venture to say they were just too lazy to replace it.
