It helps to have something light if you will be trimming things tall, like shoulder tall. Otherwise it will hurt your back and shoulders. I have used echo and stihl. I prefer stihl for all handheld equipmeent, exept hedgetrimmers where i prefer echo. Lightweight, and still have the power you will need. Exxtended trimmer is well worth it if you want to spend the money.

good piont but it doesnt really bother me all that much.besides im the type of guy who always has to buy the tool with the most power, lol
